Hi guys, Im new to Google Analytics and I wonder if there is a report about the time of day of the visits. I need to know about what time of day my site gets the most visits. I have look for it but no luck. Thanks!
I think you probably want to consider a better stat machine. Analytics is a pain because it doesn't register stats in real time. I use stat counter to gather my data. I can't tell you how much better I find the tool to be.
Under Visitors got to visitor trending - then to visits, then look above the graph and where it says 'graph by' you can choose Hours Day Week or Month - you want Hour - that breaks down your stats in exactly the way you want - shows you hour by hour how many visits you're getting according to the period of time you've set. Now, I like statcounter's real time reporting, but to suggest that it's 'better' than analytics is just silly, There is LOADS more information than you can get out of Google Analytics, if you're just prepared to spend a bit of time looking at all the reports you can get out of it.
yes, you can get this information in Visitors report under visitor trading through graph of day, week or month.
can anyone mention exactly where i can find graph by hour ?? i am not getting it , can anyone attach screenshot please
And you've added what exactly? other than repeating what I said, without, it seems understanding the meaning - the words 'trading' and 'trending' are quite different words. No time to make a screenshot... yet here's the description: Once you go to where Magda said ((Visitors --> Visitor Trending --> Visits)), look at your actual graph. On the right of the graph, on the very top, there are four buttons: Hourly -- Daily -- Weekly -- Month Click on the first one, that is the "Hourly" one. Took me a while initially to find it too.
