    Hi,

    I have a

    full time job
    girlfriend (demanding)
    studying for my MCSE

How do any of you in a similar situation to me cope with your time. I have tons of great ideas and willing to sit at the computer for hours to learn but my time restricts me.

    Any help? :D

    Thanks

    Carl

I'd give up the girlfriend first.

The best thing that you could do is to select the best ideas that you want to persue and then to do something everyday to get them going.

The key here is to do something not matter how small to get your ideas off the ground. This may mean only spending 5 minutes working on your ideas on some days. Over time these small steps will accumulate and your ideas will start to take shape.

These are all great, I went to the expense of getting a wireless card for my laptop so that at least I could be sitting with her while I work :)

Until the girlfriend becomes a WIFE!
Think you have little time now, you get married and you will be begging for time from your wife to be on the computer.

Seems you must look at all your time, and learn to prioritize that time.

I don't think you need to give up anything... you just have to take out time from each thing though. A little less sleep, little less time with the girl etc... more time on things that really "need" the time eg. studies...

hmm....well studies always comes first, then balance the time between your girl and work. im sure your gf will understand you;re situation if you're working and studying at the same time.or have the weekend spend with her...

Treat it like a job and schedule time to work. Your girlfriend will know when you're unavailable, if you make her aware of your schedule and you'll get the time you need. As long as she knows that there is a limit to how much time you'll spend and that there is time for her, she'll be content. As you get busy working, researching, reading and responding on the internet, time flies. It's easy to lose track of time and neglect the ones you love ;) So try scheduling a block of time, an hour each day or 2 hours every other day- whatever works for your current schedule, and stick to it!

What's your best Idea? I'd say go for it and put everything else on the side.
