    Hi

I'm a newbie in PPC marketing. I've tried to use adword for 2 weeks and i have a question about time in day and day in week to run campaign. Could you tell me about your experience when you run your campaign to increase the CTR? :)

It all depends on too many things to pin it down like that. For example, we know that it is better to send your email campaigns Mon - Friday and not on the weekends. That would lead you to believe that people aren't spending too much time on their computers on the week end. But now that the Christmas shopping season is here, I think that that will change and people will be doing some shopping on the weekends.

There are many other things you need to look at to increase your CTR. The keywords, ads themselves, landing page etc...

The best way to find your answer is by you doing some testing and tracking. You need to find what works for you and your campaign at this moment. Not what someone experienced a week, month or year ago.:))

You got to match what your selling to who you are selling to.
If you are selling gadgets, your consumer will typically be working men.
If your selling dieting products, your consumer may be housewifes.

For gadgets for example. Men usually read about the specs, capabilities of the items before they make a purchase. They may be doing this during office hours, at work, say on their lunch breaks for example.

When would they buy? Well it probally is in the evening or any time during the weekend. They have made their decision to buy a particular product and are now scouting around for the best price.

So for this example, I would promote by campaigns for the evenings mon-fri, and all weekends. Also if your product is selling at a good price, putting your price in the ad, will also filter out browsers.

If you are not sure of your consumer buying habits, see if your affiliate has stats to show you the time they make their purchases. This if vital information, as you can tailor you adds times exactly to your comsumer buying times. You will need to wait for quiet a few sales before you can see the the patterns though.

time factor is not much important to run campaigns..geo location and keywords play important role in PPC but I noticed that you will get less traffic on weekends
