Hello, Is it better to upload a video to Youtube Sunday or Monday to get better results ? About time, Today "Most Viewed" is calculted from the last 24 hours or from morning ? Thanks in advance for your help,
I would say research first because it really depends on the niche and plus you tube is so highly traffic that you will definitely grab traffic right away
In fact, I plan to upload a viral video on Youtube. By placing it on my websites, it skould be easily "weekly N°1" (for France). But depending how they count week (Beginning on Monday/ or last seven days), my video will get more exposure if I push it tomorrow or monday.
Just about all of the video sites are heavily trafficked so consider other such as myspace, vsocial and many other just google for video sharing sites.
Well unless your video is definitely viral and definitely something WORTH watching honestly, then you can expect it to be popular, but if it's not don't even bother you may not even get 20 views.
It is 100% viral. And I have enough visitors on my websites to push it on top5 (forFrance) without counting the viral effect. But to get maximum exposure (to be on weekly top5 longer), I just want to know how they manage their weekly counter : - From monday to Sunday. - Or by counting views on the last seven days.
I'm not sure but I think it's the last one because if you visit the latest videos you see. Added: 26 minutes ago Added: 37 minutes ago ... it counts every miniute so if you visit in an hour it will be 1h 26 minutes. Otherwise they would use "added on munday 12,36 pm" I think their whole system uses this counter and so it doen'st really matter when you post ( the only thing you might do is post in the morning otherwise you lose 1/2 a day ) I think they use the same counter to decide if your video is new, highly visited during... and so on ... like they say in france :- " bonne merde " ( which means "good luck" ( lol )
