time AdSense team needs to approve/reject an account

I applied for AdSense account one week ago. Still, I haven't received any email from them - about account approval or rejection. I've read they need 1-2 days. One week has passed in the meantime and there are no response. Is it usual or quite unusual?

 

That's very unusual. I would suggest emailing them.

 

I signed up for an adsense account for my business a month or so ago and it took them about 4 hours to approve it. The site I gave them had over 100 pages of good content. I'm not sure if the time to approve is related to the content of the site or not, but I was surprised to hear back from them so quickly.

 

I don't think approval is supposed to be that hard, it's the verification that takes time.

 

Verification of my account took about 2 days. A week is rare considering they say it should be available in 48 hours.

 

3 hours and I had account running.....It was Friday afternoon I applied and by end of day I had ads running

Guess someone was in happy mood.
