Selling Tim Tebow Fan Site - $300+ / month rev

I am looking to sell the oldest/largest Tim Tebow fan site on the internet. You must be living under a rock if you don't know who Tim Tebow is - he's a two time National Champion with the Florida Gators, a Heisman Trophy winner, and first round draft pick of the Denver Broncos. He's also the most polarizing athlete in sports today - due to his strong Christian beliefs and All-American attitude. He's a stand up guy that can really do no wrong. Oh, and he's also a best selling author (Through My Eyes was released in May). Tim will be the starting quarterback for the Broncos this year.

I have run this site since day 1 - I'm a huge Tebow fan so it came natural to me. August 8, 2007 was the first blog post. The site really boomed when Tim won the Heisman in December 2007. I've been covering every aspect of his life since then.

The site obviously has more traffic during football season (August through January). The spikes you see are big event days -- draft day, preseason game days, and regular season game days.

I have done $1684.92 in VCM since November 2007. Right now it is about $1-$2 a day in VCM and steady.

Amazon
I have done $409 in Amazon commission in the last year - all my Amazon earnings come from e-mail marketing and the Amazon product widget I have on the site.

I have done ticket sales using the StubHub and RazorGator affiliate programs. Ticket sales are random, I could go 2 months without a sale, then randomly get $75 from one order.

Neverblue Media
I have an autoresponder on my newsletter signups with an offer from Neverblue on it. Only about $10/month from this offer.

Athlete Promotions
I have a deal set up with Athlete Promotions where I get a 20% referral fee if someone books Tebow for a speaking engagement. Tim charges $50k for a speaking engagement. I've sent about 10 people to Athlete Promotions, but none have materialized. You never know though!

Private Ad sales
I get private ad sales from people all the time - some I accept and some I don't. It's safe to say I've done well over $1,000 in private ad sales since launch.

Next steps:
If you buy this site you are truly getting one of the best fan sites for any athlete on the internet. Tim Tebow isn't going anywhere - even if he's out of the NFL in 4 years, he'll still be in the spotlight. He was born to be. You should probably redesign the site. It runs on wordpress so that's easy. Continue building the e-mail database and marketing to them. These people are your most die hard fans. Be more active on the Facebook page. Fantasy Football is huge with Tebow, so I'd incorporate that more into the site. Sell Tebow jerseys (I use Amazon because of a personal conflict with other affiliate programs, but you could make a TON more by using a sports merchandise affiliate program).

Someone asked if I've been the only writer for the site or If I had a staff of people helping.

Yes, I have been the only writer on the site since I launched it in 2007. At one point I wrote a post asking to take on an additional writer and wanted to see if any of the readers were interested in contributing. I got about 10 replies with people submitting sample work - definitely qualified to help post. In the end, I decided I'd rather keep the money myself then pay someone else to write.
