read this, and may we all learn something from this thread. deep in the ppc lab...a question for you profiting ppcers: if you find a converting keyword in some ad group, and want a good way to convert your other single keyword ad groups that you already peeled/sticked to improve ctr, is it smart to splittest these single kw ad groups with ad(s) that converted the other keyword(s)? how do you optimize when you have 100+ single keyword ad groups (since you want to juice CTR) without going crazy splittesting all types of different ad copy for each ad group, all while tweaking bids for position. is a smart solution to just test new ads on a few (higher impression) ad groups, while testing the ads that converted on the smaller (and higher number of) single keyword ad groups as you play with bids to find the right position? you want to find converting keywords and increase ctr on them right, but will converting ads tend to work on a variety of keywords? note: it is assumed that your substituting the new single keyword for the other one in the ad (usually by hand not dynamic) to make the ad really relevant your thoughts/opinions are greatly appreciated.
