Thanks peon with 1 post. This was just a quick proof. I don't expect this to go for more than a few bucks. I haven't set a reserve for just this reason. The design specification was his. If the client wants ugly, I make ugly. (Shrug) some people want it that way.

You are correct! A good design cannot be completed without communication! Hell with the peon. No designer can create good design when the client stops communicating.
