Tiger Attacks M$

Apple has the best OS in the world, at least that is what some folks think.

I would love to have a Mac, I would love to have a Tiger, I just do not have the extra $ 4,000.00 to get one.

If I put a PayPal donation button on my posts here at DP and everyone donates I may be able to get a MAC, until then I will continue to suffer with my XP personal edition, no memory PC.

Anyone feel sorry for me yet?

4000? Why do you need to spend that much? Why not $800 and get it all?

I have no idea how you got $4000 unless you were adding in a 30" display. Yes non-expandable units are cheap. However, except for ram, I've never upgraded my computer. I have no reason too.

Well if you click on the ADSENSE ADS ABOVE you will find it takes you to Price Grabber, they have a dual processor G4 listed for $1,500.00 I would not buy an I-mac, you can not even upgrade those.

Yes you have to buy a screen, the box alone ain't gona help you.

What about other software to get going?

There is a great expense to switch over, think about it.

Thinking about it... and your just spending lots of money when you don't HAVE to. But that's your choice! ;) Also, Tiger has some great new features including a Spotlight Search and Safari RSS. More info here.

Why don't you invest 100 grand in my business and I will go out and get one, I would love to switch today, but like most folks in this bad economy my business has suffered in the last 4 years.

Can't wait to vote in November.

Well, if you want a laptop, get an iBook. They are very nice machines, and relatively inexpensive.

Good deals in the apple specials area or at almost any store that sells macs. just don't look at the newest stuff and you can get great deals!! Plus, almost any monitor can hook up to a mac. So no need to buy a new one. ;)

I would not use an old box, I have done that in the past and had files that could not be deleted, programs that could not be removed and all kinds of problems with motherboards burning up and all the rest.

You know you Mac Preachers never give up, that is what keeps Apple alive against all odds, your guys preaching.

Is your church tax exempt? I know that is why a lot of movie stars join the Scientology Preachers, for tax write offs and capital preservation (tax shelter) programs.

I just want to know who the top Preacher is around here so I can start a CT against him.

Maybe that is where you MAC guys are missing the boat on M$

Old box? What are you talking about. I'm talking about deals!! They may be last months model or just on sale! aNd issues with things that can't be deleted sounds like user error. Or OS error. ;)

Like I said, TM, if business and the economy were better, maybe I could afford to do things, but I need to make the monthly bills to stay above water.

If I had 100 grand in the bank, I would go out and buy one, but I need to add on to my building so I would have some place to put a new office.

So until I have more space in my building, I ain't buying nothing. OK

I hear you and Shawn clear, I want a Mac, I have wanted a Mac for years, but time, money and lack of space in my building are really holding me back right now.

If I win the lottery tommorow a lot of problems will be solved.

Stop wasting money on lottery tickets and start saving for a mac- you'll have one in 3 years then- about the time Bush will be ready to leave the white house and then elect another Republican ;)

Michael Moore will take care of GW, the hottest movie in the world.

GW Has no chance to get elected, even the business executives will vote against him, they are tired of slow business.

Workers are against him since wages are down, jobs lost, expenses up.

Exporting Billions overseas for the war helps nobody.
