We are looking for someone to tidy up our homepage design, this will include, but not be limited to:

    * Move headers/footers and sidebar elements to php include files
    * Move ALL css to external sheets
    * Improve on the existing drop down menu system
    * Slight changes to layout/element locations (info given, but for example making sidebar narrower etc)
    * Comment the code well, to aid ease of future editting
    * Optimise the site for speed
    * Validate the xhtml and css.

After this is all done, we will need a wordpress theme that looks very similar to our main site, to allow for seamless movement between our blog and main site, so a focus on navigation, breadcrumbs and general design/layout.

We will need the option of having 2 different homepage layouts in the theme, one a magazine style (showing 1 post from each category in a grid format, and at the top, the most recent 7 post slide in/out, like in jquery), and one a standard style theme, just with a list of tghe most recent posts.

LOTS of examples can be given, and example themes can be given for the designer to see what I mean by the featured post.

We have listed quite a lot of things here, but I am aware that the word is not that difficult, so I am expecting a fair price, nothing crazy!

There is also a very good chance of repeat work for the right designer (check my itrader to see how I work with people!)

    Cheers,

    Mike
