Thumbnail of a video clip

Hi to all.

I would like to embed videos from Youtube and similar sites into my own site. I know that I can copy and paste the code that these video sites offer. However, I want to make a selection page where I will include a thumbnail image and a short description of each video, so that the user can choose.

The question is: how do I get the thumbnail? Is there any automatic means to obtain it? Should I take a snapshot of the video and reduce its size?

by using asp, you can use ServerXMLHTTP to get specific datas from other sites. (also, possible in php)
(actually, i dont know how to get by other ways)

You can right click on the image in youtube.
there is a url you can find there.

better use movie thumbnailer also called MTN ... search it .... to be mentioned that u need a linux LINUX (centos) distro.
