Thread: Which is better Backlink or Content?

We do regularly Off Page submission like : Directory, Bookmarking, Classified , Blog commenting , Forum Posting etc But I did't change content regularly so I want to know which is important backlink or content for better result and what i do for best traffic and good ranking..Please someone gives some valuable tips.

Both are important. Google tracks backlinks and also freshly updated content

 

Both are equally important, but quality matters.
No point in having bad content with great backlinks or great content and no backlinks.

Sure, backlinks are wonderful in boosting your SEO ranking and website traffic, BUT if you do not generate consistent high quality content your site cannot naturally generate organic linkage or traffic. Best bet is to first focus on generating content, then links to follow.

Being in the game 6 years now Id say its a natural combination of both. You want to keep adding fresh content while at the same time bridging that content across the web. Use a variety of anchor text in your backlinks linking to the different content pages or post you create.

 

You do need both, but do not try to rush it, once you
get into this game, your site will move slow, and it may take
a lot of time, your first step is setting up what some might
consider a quality design, then you need to work on super high
quality content, no dups, no stealing from other sites, etc...fill
your site with content to the point that it doesnt look bad without it.
then take some time to find some good link builders, and do it slllowly...

and if you have done all this, and you still have not done your
keyword research, then i am sorry to say that you have most
likely 99.9% failed before you have even started....

If you are in this for future income, then you have to do
indepth keyword research, otherwise, how will you really
know what you are getting into will work? If you want to start
a pig crap farm, then it will be easy for you to rank just about
anything, however, if you going after gaming, forums, classifieds,
then you are going to have some steep competition...
(see where I am coming from?)

BTW, you may rank good for starting a pig crap farm...
however, I just have this feeling its not what people are looking for....
sorry...I think it will be a fail...
