Thread moved ~ not sure I agree

Usually I don't question threads being moved but in this instance I believe the thread should have been left in general search engine discussion. I chose the Google forum initially, primarily because it was a Google product I was discussing. Perhaps Search Engine Opitimization would have been a better choice?

It's not traffic analysis by site admin that is the significant detail in the thread but the implications, which tend to lean much more towards a general discussion on Google v's Yahoo and data collection.

Could the thread be moved back?

Well, I would think that most things related to Google Analytics really should go in Traffic Analysis since that's what it does, no?

At first glance, yes. But the thread is a speculation that Yahoo may be dropping sites using Analytics in order to protect their industry-sensitive data from Google.

Hmmm... I guess it could go in Website Reviews, since that's where all the "Why does this site rank where it does?" (or not rank for that matter) questions go...

It's not really a website review. I only mentioned I was checking my website to give a little background on what I was looking for and why ...

I know it's not a review of the website, but a review of search engine results (why does a site rank or not rank) goes there too. Otherwise Google, Yahoo and MSN forums would be nothing *but*, "Why don't I rank for xxx??"
