Thread in wrong cathegory

    Hi, I just received my first Infraction :)
    (well, I received 2, but the second one was my mistake (I refreshed when the browser hanged on a newthread.php page :) )

    What I'm asking here is:
    I read the Faq about my fault (Thread in wrong category) and I feel a bit sad because I sincerely believe that I posted in the right place. I am looking for alpha/beta tester for my small website/software but I am not paying for it because I'm still at the early stages, so I thought that I could ask it to reviewer. My fault was probably that I wrote "PM me for details" that's probably wrong for that category, but I just wanted to protect my mysql server from all lurkers.

    What do you people think? Btw.. I got 3 months for that! (and 3month for the duplicate one too.that hurts!)
    It's not a tragedy, but as picky as I am, I'd like to know your thoughts.

    ps. I wonder if I received both infraction by the same admin. 2 in less than 5hours. :)

    I wouldnt worry, getting infractions is perfectly fine on here. Nobody should post about it anymore, as there is over 30 threads in 3 months about the problem - 1 every 3 days...

    Normally, the same admin would submit 2 in one shot, and not over 5hours, 2 different admins gave you infraction - none of them disclose who did, and that is what i find annoying.

    Whether or not you are paying, you are recruiting people and you are not discussing anything, hence the Marketplace being the best place.

    But not to worry, keep doing as you do and you'll be just fine.

    The second one was for double post (do not everveverever press refresh if something wrong happen during a post :) )

    I do not worry at all. I was disppointed at first, especially because they last 3 months. Right now I don't mind.Well..I mind enough to pay more attention (that is the reason they invented the Infraction , I hope).

    T0ps3o: I think you are right. I could probably post there in the future, when the site will be ready and I need advices on it.

    next on my list: get more reputation :D

    Quite easy to remedy yourself next time. You can wipe your own post up to a certain number of hours. Just go Edit > Go Advanced > Delete Message.

    One of the Laws of Success is "giving". Give and you shall receive. You've got that one right already...
