    Hi there,

I have a bunch of websites (20~30) to be monitored. They are all small (corp) websites with moderate traffic. For each of them, I want to monitor site availability and connectivity, which include

    1) web pages (I hate HTTP errors, let it be 404 or 500)
    2) email, ftp, ssh (if smtp, pop, ftp, and ssh protocals work all right)
    3) cms (by simulating a series of actions, i.e.: add/delete an article)
    4) shopping cart (by simulating a series of actions, i.e.: add/delete an item to shopping cart, checkout)
    5) forum (by simulating a series of actions, i.e.: add/delete a thread, jump from one board to another)

I wish the report can go to my main website automatically so that I do not need to repeat the process of "check email -> get report -> copy & paste to my main website". For example, I wish the report could be dilivery via RSS, CVS, or web services. Anyway, I want to grab the content of the report and publish it to my main website automatically.

I just made a search on webmasterword and find dotcom-monitor and alertsite; sounds not bad. But I want to know about other service providers. Any good one with affordable price that can do the aforementioned 1) ~ 5)?

    Thanks a lot!

    Happy a New Year!

    Have a look at WatchMouse.com.
They have great reporting, and you can try it out for a month first.

    Cheers

Mmmm...sorry i forgot the url where i saw the comparison of many website monitoring services. But remember that host-tracker lost his winner position by bad alerting. Try to google this issue. But dotcom-monitor rocks! I have been using it for many years.
