    Hello,

Sorry the previous thread has been closed but I needed to clarify something.

    In the previous thread:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1231461

TikTok says that the mod must have meant duplicate thread, but I do not see how this is possible because if you read the thread it clearly says that the new ebook is different - its version 2. Hence it cannot be a duplicate thread. I was not selling the same ebook.

I think the real reason the thread was deleted is because the mod mistakedly thougth it contained affiliate links when it did not.

Is there anyway the thread can be re-insated as I have it explained it did not break the rules concerning affiliate links or duplicate threds.

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1228763

Or do I have to open a new thread?

    Regards

    nim3

If there was a genuine mistake made im sure itll be rectified, mods do occaisionally (but rarely) make mistakes and when they do infractions are normally reversed.

However it is just one infraction, if you dont have very many one infraction won't do any harm. If you usually follow the rules it will probably expire within a month or so, dont let it worry you too much if it's not reversed.

I would say no, if you got an infraction allready for it theres a strong chance youll get another, wait until a moderator deals with this issue. If they decide not to reverse the infraction DONT post it again.

No. Do not start the thread again.

I doubt it had anything to do with affiliate links. When mods give an infraction, "affiliate links" is pre-selected as the infraction choice. So it's possible it was given quickly, and the right one just wasn't selected - it happens.

Also, do NOT start new threads in this section after a mod has already addressed the issue. If you need further clarification, PM the mod who answered you.

Another suggestion, in the future, don't complain about an infraction when you're actually eligible for several more from that same thread. As for the sales thread itself, you should have PMd a mod with all of the details, showing that there were significant changes making a new thread acceptable. If it happens again, you need to use the report post button on your old thread requesting that we close it BEFORE starting a new thread. Otherwise, you'll end up with another duplicate thread infraction.
