    Hi mods

Why my thread in the content creation deleted ? it was about hiring writers...

I got infarction saying "you cannot say post here, it means bumping "

i gain nothing for the bumps(though they are not).. I am not selling, I am buying things..

If I say PM me, then I would be blasted with 100s of PM.... Do we have no rights to be saved from this PM blast effect and select the best writer from the offers submitted as a post (so called bump as per the infarction) !! :(

I am aware of all the rules, I am here since 2 years and come almost daily, help lots of newbies, reply their querries etc... atleast look at this before giving infarctions

The moderator was correct; you are NOT allowed to ask people to bump your thread.

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/announcement.php?f=24

    This is your quote:

"Post your offers here, Dont pm."

You even made it BOLD and in a LARGE font.

In addition, it was only a $2 offer, which means it should have also been created in the Freebies section.

PS: No, you don't have any rights to be save from the "PM blast effect", because you are asking for a service. If anything the other thread creators have a right not to have your thread remain at the top of the forum because everyone is posting their offers in it. :)

    Thanks for your reply...

i dont want to get 100s of PMs and thats why I posted PM only in bold.. Even after writing this in bold/large I got several PMs..

$2 offer is per day, so that can make $60/month, $700/year..

    I am not selling anything.
as per this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/announcement.php?f=24 , i am telling people to bump the thread with "pm me" or such things.
I am telling them to post their offers...

That announcement also flat out says you can't ask people to post their rates - that belongs in PM. That's precisely what asking people to post offers is. If they want to publicly post their rates, they can start their own thread, and you can find writers via search. When you choose to start your own thread to solicit them, you have to accept PMs.
