Thousands of keywords issue I have about 250 000 keywords on word hotel and I want to by cheap traffic from 0.01 USD from adwords How do I do that without getting banned from adwords? I want to direct this traffic to my webpage where I show affiliate link to hotelclub.com and in left frame I show adsense Is there a way out? Any ideas?
You would need to have a relevant ad and landing page for each keyword so its very unlikely you could just throw all these keywords into an adgroup and get 0.01 clicks. Impossible in fact. Organise your keyword into relevant groups, for example hotel in prague cheap hotel in prague best hotel in prague and then your ad can be Cheapest Prague Hotels Find a hotel in Prague that you can afford www yourwebsite com and then your landing page for these keywords should have the phrases hotel in prague cheap hotel in prague best hotel in prague spread throughout your page several times. If you can achieve this level of relevancy then theres a good chance you will see very cheap clicks, maybe not 0.01 at first, but with a high CTR you will get there eventually. Cheers, John
The problem with having 250,000 keywords is that unless you have an enormous budget, 240,000 of them will get no traffic at all. And only a handful will get enough traffic for you to be able to optimise them effectively. If I were in your position, I'd start on one area, learn what does and doesn't work, then look at rolling it out into different areas over time, only using terms that people actually search for, and that you are confident that you can make a profit on.
well sure enough only small fraction of these keywords would lead to traffic but i have to find out them first by posting all of these words into adwords ads... but the problem is adwords bans for this thing i could use 1 campaign 25 ads in it so i get 50 000 words covered, is it legal? what if i create 5 campaigns 5 accounts is it legal or not and what to do? if i " Organise your keyword into relevant groups, for example" still adwords may ban me and also it is a tremendious and awful job to sort all things out, since hotelclub provides thousands of hotels world wide in any city big enough so this is not an option i think http://www.hotelclub.net/ my main concern is nothing but a Goolge Adwords ban and how does it ban I just want to now where is that breaking ban point when Goolge Adwords starts to think i did a TOS violation
Google won't ban you for bidding on a lot of keywords. They may deactivate them & require high minimum bids but they won't ban you from AdWords just because of large keyword set.
read all of the responses very closely people in the adwords forum here at DP really know their stuff they just gave you some pearls learn as much as you can from them!
Apologies - misunderstood your concerns. As GFC says, they won't ban you for having a lot of keywords, but you should give serious thought to how to structure your campaign. Too many keywords without a huge budget will make it virtually impossible to optimise. And if you have got a huge budget, you can lose a lot of money while you work out what works and what doesn't...
250,000 keywords? I don't mean to sound harsh but unless you are a Coca Cola and going for brand recognition then there is absolutely no point on bidding on so many keywords man. You will run into all sorts of problems down the line. It's best to start out small and then work our way up once you know what converts... reverse engineering and starting with all those keywords will see you spend lots of money and wondering where you are failing... it'll be like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Cheers Stewart
The best thing you can do is focus on a popular local destination you know and grow it from there. See if it works first.
What's the purpose of wanting to pay for 250,000 keywords? That means 2,500$ if they all get clicked in 1 day. I assume that you want to practice Google Adsense arbitrage. But you won't get there with 1 cent a click. Google will only allow this to advertisers that have good Adwords account history, a good overall quality score. And what also counts is that you have enough relevant content on your pages, to prove to Google that you provide value to the visitor. Optimize your pages for the search-engines. Never use thousands of keywords in an adgroup or even a campaign. You have to keep your adgroups tightly targeted with at least 2 words in common. Better use between 5 to 25 keywords per adgroup(15 to 75 "" []). This will result in a higher CTR. But this will not guarantee that you will pay only 1 cent a click. All the best,
