Anyone know anything or have any information to share on the new Google Ambush program? Looks pretty sweet, no?
How funny, I am searching the net for the very same thing. Also the Google Massacre one. Let me know if you find anything and I will do the same with you. I've been inside the site. Lots of cool tools...but I haven't had a chance to use it to put a full campaign together yet. I can use it to go from idea generation all the way to PPC and landing pages...and tracking. I'm looking forward to testing it... It looks like it is going to be HUGE!
I'm in my first month of using the product. I would say it's quite powerful from an integration standpoint but I haven't used it to its maximum potential (I'm working on too many other things at the moment). I do like that it's a one-stop shop for promoting CB products. Think of it as an integration tool for building niche sites from scratch where you can: 1. Research products - you can find out what CB products are popular (view 1,7,30 day trends - which is probably the best feature of this productl) 2. Research keywords for the product you want to promote - I think it's just using Google's Keyword API 3. Manage your Adwords campaigns from the same interface - right down to editing your ads, uploading keywords, setting bid amounts, etc. 4. Build landing pages (meant for writing review pages of the product) - small selection of templates at the moment but they promise more. It even includes an opt-in feature where you can include code from your autoresponder program. 5. Tracking tool - tracks the performance of your landing page This is just a summary of the tools in GA but I'm sure there are some cool features I'm leaving out. If you do sign up, DO watch the videos that come with it, especially the strategies for building a successful niche site. Quite useful. I've learned a thing of two that is applicable to other website building techniques. I can't say it will make you rich though since I've only started using it. It's good for all levels of internet marketers out there - if you're a newbie, you'll like that it takes you through the entire process. If you're experienced, you'll like that it saves you time building sites that have one goal in mind - to sell CB products as an affiliate, using PPC. It still comes down to playing it right with your PPC campaigns. That's a learned skill and no single product is the magic bullet to making you successful in PPC. For that, go get Perry Marshall's Adwords book to start with and do your research. Google Ambush is just a tool, much like anything else.
What and where is Google Ambush? I see plenty of non-Google sites trying to sell me something, but nothing inside Google.com.
