Thoughts on the Forex Product niche

I have been thinking about promoting one of the Forex products on ClickBank.com.

I am curious, however, why someone smart enough to trade Forex would buy something they can get for free.

There's some free stuff out there like this:

    http://forexsb.com/

PS - That is not my website.

So my question is, do the Clickbank Forex products have any added value over this share-ware?

Most Forex bots that are sold on ClickBank only have support for certain market conditions. Unlike humans, they're not suited for various different market environments and can't adapt to them. EA's therefore don't function that well and have high refund rates anywhere between about 25-40%. They get killed quite easy by bad reviews aswell, the more people use it, the more bad reviews the more the products sales decline. That's not to say you can't make some quick money with the Forex niche, just make sure the product is converting quite well.

From what I read about the software at the link, it's a strategy builder where as the Click Bank products trade their selves... not entirely sure if thats what the above link does though.

@everbody_chill: CB forex software products have good sales pages, that's the difference. They are pitched as being "set and forget" money machines, not something you have to spend ages optimizing and learning (although in reality you probably do have to do this with most of them).

I'd bet that people who buy forex bots on CB are more interested in making money than they are forex, and so they buy for the promises of quick riches. A forex fan, or someone who's keen to learn and study and actually get good at forex is more likely to use free tools, join membership sites and pay way more for proven forex technologies (not bots that are "proven" on backtests).
