Hello, I have been working on a new design for my video game store. This would be for my Products Listing Pages. The rest of the site would be similar. This is a work in progress with a copy and shrunk menu inserted on the left. The search would go just under Sonic on the right. The center column with products would of course grow and not have the space it does at the bottom. Some tweaking of spaces, alignments, border sizes and such are needed also. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, trying to find a design that is different and will be remembered.
I think the green gives it a refreshing, unique look. The arrow is a nice idea too if thats where you want a lot of the attention. Its a little confusing though that you have two category boxes. I would try to make it more coherent.
