Thoughts on Kosmix.com

    I just read about kosmix.com, and it seems pretty interesting. I see that it just pulls in results from other sites like google, wikipedia, youtube, etc. But, it seems to pull in pretty relevant information for the searches I have performed. Alexa shows a pretty steady growth in popularity.

    I have not seen any referrals from it, though I do pretty well for several search terms.

    I do not find it to be that helpful in content or layout. I do not really think it will go very far.

    Well those things just dont get the traffic. Idea is good but hard to promote it. ANd if it got too big traffic then yahoo google etc would sue em ;)

    aggregating several specialist sites for searfh results is a good idea but google is better for me.

    Still feels minor in comparison to Google/Yahoo/MSN when searching for something. No way near to any big search engine in terms of content and clarity.
