Just looking at my stats and thinking - "could do better". Let's say for site DogVideos.com (made up, actually the niche should be a bit higher-paying than that) I get about 1000 relevant organic search visitors per month on a BANS-type site, of whom about 40-50% actually click through to eBay but only some 4-5 actually go on to make winning bids or Buy Now purchases. So the CTR is reasonably good, but this rate of less than 1% successful sale rate doesn't seem to good to me, for such targetted traffic. Any other experiences from others? Do I just need to go for higher traffic volume, end of story, or might there be other factors there? Like EPN shafting me! (noooo, surely not). Mark P.S. This may all be related to the general speculation about almost everyone's earnings being down since they went over to EPN, but I am just wondering in general what people consider good/typical CTR and sell rate.
