Remember its not totally finished here it is the colors are selected on purpose cause another design i made for my designer directory is similar.. with the color grid.. any thoughts ?
I love the foliage design! Not sure if the background behind it works.. maybe.. an orange/yellow gradient in the light grey area instead? Looks awesome as usual Alis
The blue/grey background is distracting - especially when u try to look at the buttons on the right, try something with less contrast
it's a little too busy for my likings. simple is good. try something with the background... remove the starburst type effect maybe and leave the ornamental motif but try making a darker gray on a black background so that it isn't pulling the attention away from the site's actual content. just an idea.
I like the style! But how is it going to work integrated with your blog? Will your blog be in an iframe, because I don't see how you can extend the content vertically, there's nothing you can tiled with the background.
ANYONE EVER TELL YOU IFRAMES ARE EVIL? hehe solution: css: div#content { height:500px; /* or whatever the height is */ width:300px; /* or whatever the width is */ overflow:auto; /* this is where the magic happens */ } html: <div id="content"> crap load of content here.... and you have a scrollable div and no use for an iframe. voila. </div> Code (markup): hope this talked you out of the iframe idea.
I like it, nice design. The orange vectors look great, and it looks very clean overall. The only thing I'd change is the top header banner, too plain in my opinion, but other than that, looks great
Alis, could you gives us the lowdown on the blog's topic? What are you going to write there? I'm kinda curious.
Its my personal blog i would probably write about nearly anything im interested @ Most probably , the design works or the tutorials i would be releasing..
10x for sharing. I would be interested to deploy myself there once it's launched. I will probably find topics to comment on. Who knows?
