Was just hoping to get some feedback about my personal blog at http://demp.se/y

I only just changed from the default theme the other day and still not sure if I really like it or not, but I'm gonna try it out for a while.

Cool domain name, good job.

The layout of the site is unique. Actually, really good idea shifting what would typically be secondary navigation down the left to be blog post headers. Excellent idea.

Is this a theme you built or did you get it from somewhere?

I'm not a big fan of the utility navigation being at the bottom of the page, but in this layout it works really well. I like the colour scheme, have liked blue and orange for a long time.

Your RSS layout is great too, easy to find the links when you need it.

Think I want to edit it a bit though, but not sure what exactly I want to change atm.

 

The site looks really good. I'd suggest you might want to change the background color.. the one that is dark blue. The layout itself is great. Just improve the colors a bit.

I love the layout, it looks great. Just a minor suggestion, you may want to adjust the links in the left hand column ("X comments", etc) as they the top text is too dark, and the bottom contrasts too much for my eyes.

 

Not bad. But your main content is textual, so try top make it as easy-to-read as it possible. Blue text on a dark-blue background looks nice but difficult to read.

And yeah, left column looks very nice and fresh!

Header of the site is too poor. May be it is good idea to make it more interesting.

Right columns are a little overloaded. May be it will be better to make them less contrast. Remember: your main content is middle column with the text. Make it most attractive.

BTW: something looks wrong with the table Alphabet Soup post. The content of cells are over cells borders. I see it in my FireFox.

But in general all looks well.

 

comments section on the left panel, remove it . it does not look good bacause of no comment. i see only comment and a huge space on there

 

I am not a fan of dark background color or dark anything as there usually a bit hard to read.

 

Very nice design, I wonder what makes you use the name of the person making comments instead of a subject or part of their message?
