Thoughts about buying traffic

Ive recently came across some a site (http://www.i-web-marketing.com) that claims to deliver 30,000 targeted visits in 24hours.

What do you guys think about these traffic sellers, there are a few others ( some cheaper some more expensive )

Is it for real ? ( is the quality of the traffic acceptable ? )
Anyone ever used those kinds of services ?

    Give me your inputs, thanks

the quality is probably bad. these are most likely from autosurfers meaning they get paid to click ur link, they wont stay long or visit any pages cause they just click ur link exit out and click another link so they can get their money. I haven't investigated this preticular site but thats how most of them are.

Most, if not all of the sort of traffic is fake or use less.

I agree, could be fake traffic as well, that nobody will ever see your website. I must admit that when I first started promoting/marketing websites a few years ago I was curious how traffic of this kind would work. Well, it was not very promising, it was terrible.

I would never buy traffic. The best traffic comes from search engines, pay per click and writing content. These kind of companies are everywhere and are only after your money.

I have never tried buying traffic before especially after hearing the negative comments floating around... I think you may end up better buying blog posting :)

I tried one of those - it was something like 10,000 visitors for $10. Pretty much worthless. I have had ok results with some of the PPC services that charge around 1 cent per click - never heard much good about the ones that are lots cheaper (0.1 cents or less per click).

The quality will just be random people who're just surfing for the money, I would think. You'd never generate a sale or get any ads clicked. On the point of ads, if you're using Google AdSense, then they'll ban your account for having artificial traffic.

Most of these sites give you fake impressions. They use robots to send repeated hits to your site. If you look at your log files, you will see traffic coming from the same unidentified ip address all the time. You hardly get targeted visitors. If you are running adsense, you may have to stay away as the paid to surf and exchange format may be against Google TOS.

There may be good ones out there but generally you have robots giving you hits and impressions.

If I want my site to be flooded with mostly usless visitors I can use stumbleupon. So many just come and go (there are some people who actualy stayed, but most are just 1 second passers). That's free at least.
