Though I am expert in SEO, But need suggestion from other SEO Experts

You cannot completely drop articles and web directory submission.

 

Yes articles and dir are some of helps to SERP, you can do link exchange, link building also gives more effective results.

 

every link counts. though every one brags about devaluation of directory links and article links, in practice they help a lot
so instead of dropping directory / article submission, complement it with forum posting, blog links, blog comments etc.

 

I would suggest you to create some blogs on various various blogging engines

For those of you who "think your an expert" - you wouldnt reply by saying hahahaha.. Your an expert asking a question like that in a forum. lol - Like you have any advice to give anyways.

Build yourself a blog farm over a few IPs- buy some domains with PR - Build yourself up using your own resources. Do some Link wheels - social bookmarking, and drop link directories.. not article submissions. try article marketing automation. Find some .edu blogs to leave comments on. That outta do you for a while until something else changes.

HIGH PR anchor links from related niche website.

Get a anchor link from a PR 7 site in your same industry/niche and VOILA! you go up flying in the rankings...

but hey ... you are the "SEO expert".

onsite seo + few high pr backlinks ( 20 to 30 ) pr 5 back links ( pages that contain only your link as outbound) and high quality keyword rich content = top rank in google.

Now what happend, If you not paid for directory. Your link will be removed after a few months

why some directories Like DMOZ don't need keywords, etc.

then why do you submit keywords in your directory submission forms.

Now a days, everyone at DP and other webmaster forums are SEO Experts. The best way to rank is to provide quality content to your readers the rest comes with time and patience. If you have a new site and you want to dominate a niche where Google makes millions in PPC, then you are day dreaming. Google knows it all, they have all the data. SEO Experts should first deliver quality content to the readers and then think about other factors.

As per my 4 years of experience i will not tell you to stop dir and article submission but here are few very important point that need to be consider while working on link building:
- Never run behind quantity of links (i.e dont submit your site to thousands of directories and hundreds of articles). Create one best directory list according to theme and based on your experience. only submit your site into those directories. (quality of link is very important)
- I am strongly believing that if you provide useful content or product or services to the visitors than they will definitely give link back to you. try to provide something that encourage people to give back link to that url.

Last but not least, Just keep in mind that optimize your website for visitors not for search engine. you will definitely get the result.

 

I dont think people are saying they are experts, you must admit that is a funny way to start a post though is it not?

Im no expert on SEO but I am good at it, but because im good at seo it doesnt mean im going to start a post stating im a expert!

I would never recommend buying a domain name with pagerank as 90% of the time they fall to PR0 once resold anyway!
Its better to get a domain and work and work and work some more to get proper results.

The blog farm idea is a good one and tends to work ok, you can get free hosting and free domains all over the place

 

I still prefer social bookmarking than directory submissions. The one I don't like on social bookmarking is they are very time consuming, because I use manual social bookmarking.

Now it is much clear to me the importance to Dir and Article in SEO.

But You know, I did not get much regarding Directory and Article submission from this discussion.

What is got is:

If you think your an expert in something ---- and you state this to others, yourself ---- You will get a lots of people or opponents, who don't like you, whether they know your capabilities or not,

The reason is: You and your opponent from the same field.

Still, I don't mind those innocent people, who don't know about their capabilities and hesitate to state them as and Expert. Such people can never be an expert in any field.


Besides, I praise all those, Who don't comment on others, till they know what the man is capable of .
