Those Who Have Made Money: Please Post Your Setup!

One of the golden rules around here is that CONTENT is king, and the hope is that Google will send us traffic for those keywords that are relevant to our articles.

So for those who have made maybe $40-$50 a month MINIMUM off one site, would you care to share that site? How many articles have you written, how have you acquired backlinks, etc?

This will be helpful for ALL those struggling with Adsense.

well i guess no one will share their website with you buddy :)

But i guess selecting high paying niche like Cars -- Finance -- Automotive -- Loans etc etc will help to invcrease your $$ on going

As far as back links are concerned 20k should be enough for any website along with Good SEO

will make you around $100 per month from one website for sure :)

Well i think i wouldnt mind sharing my site. Its UK Directory i make only around 70$ a month from the site. The links are coming from Social networking sites and Other Social Book marks apart from Ezine articles. I have other sites which are doing moderately well but not worth putting down here. Most of them are Directories

I know at the moment I have been struggling with adsense, BUT I know that is because I havent had the time to devote to making it better. But I do spend a few minutes on DP every day learning how to be better. The search function is there for a reason. And I think if the newbies are to lazy to do some searching and educate themselves a little before asking a question why not just point them towards the search feature. Theres a hudreds of articles on here about how to get started, the basics, theres even a sticky called "Adsense FAQ". But maybe its just me, I just dont like wasting peoples time.

Everyone is working hard to set up a decent website and make money... it's hard for someone to reveal his keywords like that... you should try to find them out on your own. Just stick to it and you will manage it! ;)

I run a website for a car with adsense and it has the best CTR rate of all my sites...there is two videos on youtube with 40k+ hits and in the corner i put the websites address: http://www.mywrxsti.com

this is a new one, which updates itself off of feeds and is doing pretty good too... http://www.pumpcost.com

there are pump price RSS feeds that are searchable by zipcode? or is that a backend program that searches a larger set of data?

Have you tried changing the link unit to below the content table, and moving the Ad unit to the top?

Also try adding a few more keywords in to your top paragraph (mainly gas) because it appears just once and pump appears more. I'm getting a lot of unrelated "pump" ads such as Concrete Pump, Diaphragm Pump, Dehumidifier Pumps etc.

Then wrap section targeting tags around it, i feel you will do a lot better.
