Those Stupid Spam PM's

    These really annoy me. Can the admins change it so you can only reply to PM;s until you get 100 posts or something?

    Its really, really annoying, and I hate having to snitch on users who do so.

    I am sure something like that would also stop 'pm me' type posts.

    I had already received a few, maybe there is a mod for vb like "report this post" where the user can flag the pm as spam.

    There is. But, that would require the ability for mods to view your PM's.

    If someone is spamming you via PM, forward it to one of the moderators.

    If I get a spam PM I just forward it to Smyrl (sorry Shannon ;)). She deals with it within a few hours and the member often ends up banned if hes spammed a few people.

    Smyrl deals with it ASAP. Some mods (not naming names) just ignore you.

    My sig doesnt seem to work, though :(

    I don't think the real spammers take time to look at your sig ;) When I get spam it is usually sent to 4 others as well, usually with usernames starting with A, so I am guessing they use the member list.
