I have a question for you Google / Search engine specialists. In the link sales part of this forum, there are those who say that they will publish an article to several sites for a set fee. This article will not change -- it will be the exact same article that appears on several sites.

Now, my question on this deals with the duplicate content penalty. For example, let's say that I have several blogger sites that will receive the content -- in reality, I don't. Also, let's say that I have several other sites that will use a central database that will serve many, many sub-domains. In other words, let's say that I own sub-domain1.mydomain.com, sub-domain2.mydomain.com, and sub-domain3.mydomain.com . sub-domain1, sub-domain2, and sub-domain3 will each use the same database. In this manner, when I publish an article or an advertisement on one sub-domain, it will be displayed, automatically, on the other sub-domains -- all this because the same database is being used for each particular subdomain.

Since Google assigns differing PRs to sub-domains, I imagine that each sub-domain will be interpreted differently by Google. However, since each of the sub-domains will serve the same content from the same database, will Google penalize the sub-domains and/or the articles contained therein for the same content?

If I understood correctly you, which I think I dont you problem is that...basically you write an article, a good one and you include a link in it and let to some kind of x service to submit it to the directories thats all, you dont use that article for your website, because it may hurt you you use article only just because you could include your link in it, so you could get a backlink and some of the traffic, it depends how good is your article..

that scheme is so obvious and will provide you no benefit...maybe even get you banned.....anyone looking at your link profile is going to see what you are doing.....
