As you are probably aware, if you don't cash it, they won't be able to correctly balance their accounts at the end of the quarter/ year... LOL

Great Idea!! A friend of mine got a check from the IRS on his tax return for 18cents. I think the postage was a quarter. He has it framed in his office at home.

I'd rather get the check for whatever amount as opposed to being one of the other people that posted saying the were canceled and the company kept the money.

This is really funny, Citibank holds my Adsense check up to 3 months "fearing" that Google could have no funds.

Now wondering what they could do if I would get a 11 or 4 cents check, LOL :D

    That's hilarious - let's break this down.

Assuming your bank is 3 miles from your house, you get 20 miles to a gallon, gas is $3.25/gallon and your time is worth $30/hour and the bank teller is making $15/hour:

    Driving to bank: 49 cents
Witing 10 minutes in line: $5.10
90 seconds for teller to process deposit: 38 cents
2 minutes for teller to laugh with other tellers after you leave: 50 cents
    Driving back home: 49 cents

Total cost: $6.96 to deposit an 11 cent check :)
