Those $1 for email address offers

Do those $1 for email address offers actually convert.

For example offer 1960 from SuperbRewards claims to payout after an email address is submitted, but I haven't converted any of my clicks yet. Whats the deal. I am sure more people get frustrated and quit after seeing how long the survey is, but I bet they are entering their email addresses, so why is it not paying out?

I think the only way to get these to convert is to spam half the world.

I just use them to fill blank ad spots. I checked my stats and see that my eCPC is almost always under $.25. Keep in mind thats of the people who click.

I just checked my stats and i got a .25% ctr with it. Yes, that's less than one percent.

I have an ipod site. Do you think the "Get a free video Ipod" signup would work?

It says it pays out with an email address, but I doubt it. I think they would have to sign up for something during the survey.

Any deal involving email address is usually spam-related, with a very few exceptions.

Which brings up another question I have. Are there any good offers besides ringtones? Ringtones convert because someone gets duped into ordering them. I am looking for other things that don't require the person to enter a credit card number.

Yes it would work on relative content . You can always give a try.

The lead factor is mentioned. So it pays on email address submission.

    Dating Offers would be alternative

i wouldn't say they are duped into the ringtones. the offers clearly state that the "X" many ringtones come with a monthly charge. Read the fine print with any online offer.

In regards to the $1 email offers.. good luck... no conversions yet here

Not to mention, the person entering their emails gets like 200 spam emails per hour by everybody and their cousins.

I haven't tried them, and I probably wouldn't, but if I did, I would go with Zip offers. similar payout, no spam.

yeah... zip offers tend to be better.. .unless people specifically sign up for your mails with the intention of answering them for $$. would be hard in today's climate though

Carl, Have you tried auctionads yourself? Do they really convert well? I am looking for something to supplement my CPM and CPC campaigns, but most affiliates haven't been doing too well.

those offers (zip only and email only) are basically for large volume emailers. very few websites can generate 1-2k clicks per day on an offer like that. which is what's required to make it worth your while.

and yes, they pay you whenever someone submits just and email address or just a zip.

very wrong, (from personal experience) websites can do VERY well with zip/email submits you just have to kno how to promote them and have an original marketing ploy. just putting up a banner wont do any good.

exactly, which requires a lot more setup than sending 5mm emails, which is what 90% of Azoogle's affilaites are doing. ask your rep what volume comes through email vs web.

Jesse's right. I have a freebie site and the only content is a collection of several email/zip offers, and as a group, they bring in good revenue.
