It's a parked page..... they get paid to park their domains.

Check the link in my signature for a parking program (if you have unused domains that are just sitting there, you can park them and earn revenue!)

Google gives advertising feeds to companies and they use them and generate revenue. They have control over the feeds, and Ads By Google isn't shown... to not be obvious it is a page specifically made for generating revenue.

    Thanks ;)

Parking services are very different from making websites and putting adsense on them (Assuming your main objective is to generate revenue.)

Parking works VERY well with sites that have a lot of traffic... but those sites can be monetized even further. Take Candy.com for example. It is a great exmaple of a domain that can make a bundle parked, but the owner decided to customize the site with XML feeds (these are sometimes only given to "special" people with good traffic) and I guarantee you he makes a LOT more with the customization of the site then he did having it parked -- but these are only given to people who meet requirements.

Like all pages, parked domains must be monetized as well. See what people are searching for on your site (Namedrive offers this ability! Just check the settings on your domain and it tells you what geo-graphic location a person visited from and even what they searched) and then put the appropriate keywords.

I've had some luck with some parked domains, but some of them just really need to be developed. If your domain is generic enough, then parking might be sufficient.

It's a little late and I'm not sure if I'm just rambling on. If anyone else has any questions, feel free to ask!

Well, it really depends on the domain name and the niche. A financial domain can make some OK change with moderate traffic (remember they are parked and 98% of the links on the site are revenue generators). If there is natural type-in traffic, then parking is a good way to make money. Parking is great for typo domains since you can't really develop them, but would like to make money off of them. Get a couple good typos, park em, and depending on how popular the correct site is (for example youtbue.com instead of youtube) you can make some nice change everything*

*there can be legal issues. I was just using that as an example.
