This Update My Site PR 2. But With Same Link Popularity Friend's Site Got PR 3 Why?

    Page rank have been given for the sites at the begin of April-2009. So my blogger site rank is PR "2"(BEFORE I HAD PR "1"). But with the same link popularity (MY SITE LINK POPULARITY AND MY FRIEND'S SITE LINK POPULARITY SAME) one of my friend's site has got PR "3". Why it has happening like this. My site is at my signature..

    Its not just about link popularity. It also depends on the quality of the backlinks. He might have more higher pagerank backlinks than your website

    It depends on amount and quality of the backlinks, better content, more traffic..

    Quality + Relevancy buddy that you have to know. You should have to collect more and more quality relevant backlinks to get more PR.

    i cant understand,how google is checking the quality of contents of the site?..they are not going to read it ryt?..they can only check the backlinks..is it?

    Even if the site belongs to the same niche, the site content would obviously be different and his content might be carrying more relevant keywords...giving him more popularity in serps than yours.

    Not only the liunk popularity .. google consider many things for ranking.. even all are same, google ranking will be based on the indexed BL

    Google toolbar page rank depends on several factors. These are as follows:
    1. Website interlinking should be according to search engine and user point of view.
    2. you should have good quality inbound links to your site.
    3. You links should be them related and at least website, you are taking links, should have high home page pr.
