Geez, I can just believe it. I have a site abour butterflies: www.decorbutterfly.com

I was doing SEO work and I was already getting some excellent results on google, when from one day to another all my rankings drop. I have seen this sometimes happens with some of my other sites, but then rankings come back in a couple of days. In this case, however, the rankings were not coming back after a week.

Big was my surprise when I got to realize this: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:www.decorbutterfly.com&btnG=Google+Search

That is just incredible. Finding out more about that, I found out that my site was listed at http://www.stopbadware.org, here:

"(www.decorbutterfly.com/) has been determined by Google's testing to be a site that hosts or distributes badware. The following are examples of urls on (www.decorbutterfly.com/) that Google has determined can lead users to be infected by badware:
    www.decorbutterfly.com/"

I have already submitted a review petition for my site at Stopbadware, but I don't know how long will it take them to review my site, or even if there will be able to do something abou this. This is a big problem for me, so if anyone else has experienced this situation, please share your experience. Advice and any helpful comments are welcome.

Reading how stopbadware works, it looks like it has identified your HOSTING company as a source of malware.

I would point that out to the hosting company, ask for my money back, and move my site to a new host.

    -OR-

Your site has been hacked. Still contact your host, and ask if they could identify a hack in your account, and to please fix it.

just try to change your hosting company and then email the site to remove you from the list. that may works.

Like I figured it out, it is your host responsible in such problems.
