This seemed a bit excessive to me...

It's kind of bizarre that a person who is of legal drinking age can go into a licensed establishment and purchase alcohol legally. He/she can drink it legally. Yet, they run the risk of getting arrested before they are even finished the drink.

I gotta say thats an absolutely ridiculous state of affairs you have over there... If the police attempted to arrest people at a bar or a pub here...theyd probably be bashed, or at the very least verbally assaulted to the max, and rightly so.

What happen to personal rights, and the assumption of responsibility? Most people can drink a few beers and not actually run somebody over.

Man, like I said - POLICE STATE, and if its happening in Texas...I can only imagine what its like elsewhere as well. Kinda makes me think twice about coming to the U.S to be honest.

Whiny conservatives named Mia and Blogmaster who don't believe in personal rights. Those beer drinkers could have been terrorists, we had to preemptively strike and destroy before they had a chance to be responsible.

It's common practice in The Netherlands to smoke a little joint

and drink a beer once in a while :D And nobody can stop it if we do it indoors!

I'm thinking U.S. being the land of the free is more and more being overstated if you ask me

We can even smoke joints outdoors, granted there are as of now a few minor places where it isn't allowed and where you will find this sign

But if you can't see the sign then you are FREE to smoke a joint if you wish!

Getting arrested for being drunk in a Hotel bar is just rediculous and definately a sign of LACK of freedom if you ask me.
