I have a website, lets call it for example "CarsAreGood.com"
Type in Google search "Good Cars" - my site is listed in the top 10.
Type in "Cars are good" and my site is on about page 18 of the results even though "cars are good" is the domain name of my site?
    Why does this happen?

Some of other sites have good traffic and good links this key word "cars are good" that's why you are not getting on first page..

Try to get good links with this keyword and i am sure you will get the results in few days..

Agreed. It is all in your competitors. Look at their sites and backlinks and you'll have your answer.

You chose the very high competitive keyword so it take some time to get your site come first.

Do continuous link building will help you for that. :)
