I just had a deal fall through in the "domains" section....yesterday, I posted SOLD at an agreed price, then PM him....The guy PM's me back today and says " I got a higher offer, pay me more and I will sell to you " :mad:What kinda BS is that? If you are going to sell, then sell!!!! If you get a PM offer, then POST IT...Don't PM the supposed buyer and say you got a higher offer and ask for more money....NOT a good business practice, in my opinion...

I should add that this was a cheap domain ($7) but it is still a domain I wanted to buy....People should keep things up-front and tranparent. My 2 cents...just a little rant from me...I'll get over it:D

maniac2002 even i have faced this problem many time but their is no wrong thing i will say , if someone send a bid via pm to me for higher cost i will sell to him but if you have won the bid than you can ask him why he is not giving to you . If it was not a bid than he can sell to anyone . atleast he told you in good way , in past i lost $ 6 in domain trade too .

oops im sorry for that, ok just pay me 8$

$8 ??? What happened to his $9 offer???? My God, Some people!!!!!!

I will tell you that when ever you trade in domain name do add them in yahoo messenger or other one and do little chatting with them to ask the details and when you fell satisfied than only buy product .

I understand that atulperx, but he did not post that it was sold, or that he had a higher offer...and after all that he PM's me back to offer me the domain at a higher price, but LESS than he said he was offered....Something very strange about that...
In fact he has not even posted anything in that thread since I posted "SOLD"

But anyways, it is over and I will NEVER deal with him in any way again...simple enough!

This is why I insist that all offers are posted, not PM'ed when I sell something. Keeps things honest in my opinion. Cheers all, Mark

Recently i sold a domain name for 50$ arcadesworld.com search for the thread and after announcing the winner i got a BIN offer 200$ which is not valid since the first buyer was in the payment process and i had the ignore the 200$ bid as the deal was already done.

That's the way it should be. If you make a deal you don't break it for the sake of profit - to do so is dishonest and unethical in the extreme. I myself have lost money in several deals for the sake of keeping to my word.

Amit has been here a long time and knows the honest way of doing business. Newbies take note.

Sounds like he was trying to squeeze a few more bucks out of you. So not cool.
