This new adsense thing is making me mad!

I don't know when they started using the shorter ad code but its really ticking me off. Sometimes it works but now it doesn't! It won't display and I wait for the 10min it says to and its the totally wrong style and its a leader board when I want a skyscraper!

Anyone else have this problem or any tips on what to do?

when making the ad code, make sure you get the right size.other wise when you look at your site it will be all messed up. :D

you can still use the old format.

That's your fault. Don't whine about it - instead go focus on building your site's traffic.
Use the old code if the new codes aren't working.

I feel it's better to use older format when you are not sure of new thing.
I am still using the older one.

Older format is still preferable...easy to modify.

    Your Kidding right?

The new stuff is just as easy to modify

    In fact ITS EASIER :)

No need to mess with code, just go to adsense panel and push a color wheel.....

Why does that suck........Can someone explain?

We were able to change colors in the code.
Now you will have to log in to adsense panel for that :(

it not the intended use but it would be nice if you could change the size too

I sometimes get 'internet explorer cannot display the web page' well after the ads have been running

The new change definitely benefits the publishers in a long run (it is much easier to change without messing with the codes).

Many people fear for change and tend to discourage the new move.. however, this change is necessary :)

NOT ONLY that BUT - this helps prevent fraud.....

    WHAT you say ?

    Yea - it prevents fraud.....

    Let me explain,

Did you ever sell a site and leave that adsense code by mistake?

Did you ever think someone was using you pub id to get you banned?

Well with the "master control center" you can now adjust and delete ads to prove they are yours

I think this is why adsense is doing this
