This Might Have Been Asked A Hundred Times...

I have what is probably a stupid question

I'm an "avid" user of the Content Creation forum and have had a lot of success finding work there when I post threads advertising my writing services. That said...

I feel a little spammy posting a new thread every couple of days.

Is it better to bump up an old thread with a message saying something like "I still have space in my schedule for new clients" or should I just keep doing what I've been doing, starting a new thread every couple of days?

Or are both frowned upon and I should just stick to PMing the people who are looking for content?

Again, apologies if this has been asked a bunch of times or if it truly is a stupid question!

 

personally i think the admins would prefer 1 topic to be used rather than the same one being remade
also
only "bump" it after 24 hours that way you have given ample time to get a response
there fore 24 hours should be fine

In my opinion - you're likely to get people moaning at you for doing any of them, including bumping threads and starting new ones every couple of days. You'll also got people irate by PMing them about your services, unless of course they have asked in one of your threads to be PM'd - in this case, it's the potential client who should get the infraction for a 'PM Me' post It'll all go down to the wire - really depends on which mod comes across your posts/reports and which side of the bed they got out of on that day
