this might be a dumb question - using adsense on multiple sites

Hello, newbie here, so sorry if this is a silly question!

I just read through the FAQ (very useful BTW), and it says "Do I need to contact Google every time I make a new web site?
    Answer - No"

I just want to be totally clear on this - I recently got my first Adsense account for my blog & it has been approved by Google. So, I can now use that code for all of my future websites (I've got four in various stages of completion with more planned for the future!)? I don't need to have the new sites approved by google?

I'd previously assumed I'd need a separate adsense account for each site, but now I see that you can't have more than one personal account. I just thought it was a bit strange that they'd insist on approving my first site before I could get an account, but don't seem to care about the content of my subsequent sites...

    thanks :)

You can use the same publisher ID for all your sites even if they are not related in content or theme. You do not have to get the other sites approved before you start using your Pub ID on them, only copy and paste the code where you want the ads to appear and Google will do the rest.

To separate different ads you may want to track for your different sites use channels instead of getting a new account for every new site you want Adsense on.

You can even use my adsense id - but don't click on it too often! ;)

yes, I'll be careful about that. It'd be very annoying to lose the google ads from all my sites just because one of them was doing something wrong!
