This just got me banned from BlackHatWorld

I honestly don't even know if it's what the other guy is selling, but I made a joke about how I had a suspicion and should sell a script about it. When I got an angry PM I just replied that I'd post my suspicion in the making money forum. Isn't it supposed to be nice to share? They're always taking the garbage people sell on here and distributing it on their warez forum.

Some guy on there is selling a "method" for getting first page local rankings instantly. It's probably just the local business thing. I looked up italian restaurants in my town and a bunch of them are listed on local search with their sites being to a totally unrelated CPA offer.

Wow big money making secret method! You search for local listings and use the edit button!

BHW is just a place where idiots who never made it past affiliate sites and info products try to sell garbage to newbies who will buy anything that they think will make them a few bucks.

So now you all know what to do. Start editing urls on google maps until it dies. It should be pretty quick.

This a pretty much not a legitimate way of promoting your business. If there is a loop hole you must let know Google so they can correct it rather taking advantage of it.

I believe once a business is "claimed" in Google it cannot be edited randomly. Sounds like it is in every business owner's interest to claim their listing.

That was a mistake, you should not take advantage of such loopholes.

I've never been a fan of BlackHatWorld, it's like the dark side of the internet.

Well, there will always be people trying to exploit any and everything. So, the more defensive measures they take, the best.

    lol...

I am currently a member of black hat world. Although it is good, I do get annoyed that some people really do push the limits and boundaries. The way I look at black hat is that it is 'frowned upon'... i personally went this way to get free traffic and ideas like that. I had a brilliant individual and original method that I use and it paid other people CASH in return and was only black hat depending on how you looked at it! Some of it was ok. This probably isn't making much sense but basically what I'm trying to say is keep it legal and don't screw other people over. I'm in a generous mood and will be releasing my method within the next week but I'm not going to B.S. it is expensive and if I don't limit the number of copies sold then it will saturate. Watch this space... lol

OH... and one other thing. I agree with whoever said about 'newbies'... This is my one pet hate! I personally always kept a low profile online. These guys on BHW always throwing the term newbie around at people like it's an insult. The way I look at it is that you never get the big money makers saying these sorts of things. Just because they build up their 'rep' on a forum... THIS ISN'T MAKING MONEY!! haha. I bet some of the 'newbies' make more than these people who attack people who are trying to get into internet marketng and just starting out. Remember people, give give give and you shall receive.

What the hell have SE's, Google in particular sections of DP to do with your ban from BlackHatWorld forums???

Otherwise, yes most of the deals there do look suspicious - that's why I never registered. But scammers are all over the internet...
