As long as you get the one above junior (with the adjustable thermostat) I would agree. Mine is way too hot and you can't adjust it.
I can set the level, it's digital, I have the grill and the chicken roaster, but have yet to use the roaster.
I actually did Home Economics at school. I was the only guy in my class. The other class doing Home Ec had 4 boys in it but I seemed to be the only 1 that had a chance of getting a decent grade so they chucked me in with all the girls. I felt a little uncomfortable in that class to begin with but made some great friends in there.
TOPS obviously doesn't have enough knowledge yet as having knowledge inherits the correct application of knowledge Some people are intelligient but have no common sense and vice versa but I see knowledge as having both. Perhaps I am getting knowledge mixed up with wisdom.
Even if you have infinite wisdom and/or knowledge and you are a genius, it only converts into power if you can use it to fulfil your goals. So the key is in the application of it, not having it per se.
I reckon if you can influence people then you can achieve your goals a lot better than if you can apply extreme knowledge. But then I've been reading Dale Carnegies "How to win friends and influence people" thanks to Centrium
So you're applying knowledge by influencing people. Influencing people requires skills and most skills are knowledge based. So we're back to correct application again You're right in saying that sleuth tactics can outperform those relying on extreme knowledge, no doubt about it. But I'm just saying that gathered knowledge that's just sitting in your brains does not give you power. Only when it comes out of there can it benefit you. (In some extreme cases like nuclear scientists in dodgy countries can a threat of application of knowledge bring power - but that still relies on the ability to apply). You get my point though. Right? Will have to get that book too. Heard it being mentioned a few times now.
I think we're arguing the same point TOPS I do indeed see your point! SE did you notice any difference with the results you got from using the methods in the book? I've found that it has made a significant change in the way people react to me. I feel a lot more confident as well when approaching customers with new business proposals which always makes a difference as well.
Yeah, I found that you can ask for more money from clients and they respect your knowledge a little more... I try to think about it whenever I dao anything though... Especially when meeting new people. I've been working really hard on remembering peoples names and I think it's paying off... People like it when you take an interest in them and then decide that they'd like to take more of an interest in you. It sounds like common sense but really, listening to people and remembering their name are the two biggest changes you can make to your people skills... (Not yours specifically, anyone's )
I LOVE MY LEAN MEAN GREEN GEORGE FOREMAN TOASTI MAKING MACHINE. oops bit late on topic there, but nvm...
