My new landing page has averaged 120 hop clicks a day for the past week with one sale a day. Today, it had 230 hop clicks and NO sales. Can anyone tell me if they also had a bad day with clickbank? What is wrong?
Nothing It's only 1 sale a day - you have a 50/50 chance you will won't make a sale. Consistency is hard and so many tiny teeny eeenie weeeeeny things could have happened or not happened that you need not worry soldier. Once you are at 5 sales a day - you will still get the odd day with NO sales. Could be literally anything from the weather, to the day of the week, to your offer/product, to competition, to your vendors site being down a bit, to your lander getting scraped/swiped and bumping you - if it's PPC it could just be bad traffic/smart priced traffic, something big was on TV, lot's of people had sex today/tonight cause its a stressful Monday and nobody bought. .. ... don't - worry - it's - normal. While there have been a few select times that I've questioned their systems, vibing off of one sale a day is not nearly enough data to question CB - it's usually rarely the network. Better luck tomorrow - usually in times like this it makes people panic and so they go post a whole bunch of stuff hoping to rank again or redo their ads or or... be calm, nothing is wrong - if you feel the need to 'up' your campaign or assets - do them wisely and with stealth - if you feel defeated, analyze your defeat. Also perhaps don't put all your promo tactics into one tactic - diversify your asset outreach - use 2-5 marketing tactics daily including your PPC. I do my best to get my aff's to 100 hops a day via whatever methods they endorse - however when diversified it can actually bring you better results than adwords alone - that's one stream and it's not always proven or quantifiable... anyway 120:1 is not great - check your keys, put statcounter on your lander, check traffic results re where they are coming from and what search terms they are clicking from. You might be losing clicks on bad keys - enable 'negative' keys. You might need to exact match / broad / etc. split test... .. . all in all though if you're still making a good buck from the 1 sale per 120 then good for you, again nothing is wrong and it should make you proud that you finally stayed consistent for a week - good achievement - this 'day off' is just that. Yep, I agree with everything NCMedia said. I've had great weeks with CB and not so great weeks with them. I try not to go day by day as that can make me loony. Besides, so many things can cause daily fluctuations. I think, for the most part, Click Bank is a pretty reliable network
