That's a matter of guerilla activitity, not the US's personal action against civilians. WE can't help some have difference they like to resolve over violence....stupidly. That's a product of that region, as you fully know.

When was the last time one sect of Christianity fought the other sect? Must have happened but I can't remember.....

If the terrorists would stop killing other people, and each other, that number would be much lower. The one thing the terrorists want us to believe is that those numbers are a direct result of US servicemen pulling the trigger, which is far from the truth.

I'd be pretty embarrassed if I fell for propaganda like death counts. The media loves it, the terrorists love it, and the terrorist sympathizers here on DP love it even more.

ummm yeah but it is a direct result of the US invading the country, and people predicted it , that is why saddam was left in power during the first gulf war

Don't worry ferret - democracy will obviously sort itself out. After all, even 1,000 year old wars between religious sects can't keep aflame with a puppet democracy in place! :D

So how do you account for the previous deaths number in the 100's of thousands then? Before the US assisted Iraq in becoming free.

No, Saddam was left in power because the US did not have a plan for an invasion of Iraq. The intent of the Gulf War was to remove Saddam from Kuwait. That goal was achieved in an overwhelming success.

How do you account from the thousands killed all over the world? The blood was not on our hands, fueling hate and violence against the US were they?

Actually here is quote from GB sr

No, it was a sincere question. I should have said, 'when was the last time different Christian sects fought over their differences in religion'....? That was the question I meant.

Right, but yo! hates his country so much, he would give the credit of the very people doing the killing to America. It would be too painful for him to condemn the terrorists causing all the harm, the ones he wants to take over Iraq.

Go for the emotional arguement when you have no facts, Gtech, someone might fall for it

    next you can say

    1) someone is buddies with terrorists
    2) someone hates America

Of course don't use facts or reality in you argument at all just go for the straight emotion

Then maybe whine a bit about how scary the terrorists are.

    The "terrorists" are Iraqi's.

So essentially what you're saying is you don't want the Iraqi's to take over Iraq. :D :D

Sounds like a great plan for democracy.

Before you can fall for something, you have to stand for something. Blame America first isn't much to stand on. What did you fall for today?

So you can't account for thousands killed in Florida? But you expect others to account for death around the world?

    That's what I thought...

And that small group of terrorists are killing Iraqis who otherwise want nothing more to live in peace and get on with their lives. And, you are giving credit for their killings to America, as usual. Yet you pretend to care about the Constitution, but only when it benefits terrorists

No, I'm saying I don't want the people you support to take over. There is a difference. We do not support the same people.

I prefer it over your plan, to let terrorists take over the country. But I'm sure you have your reasons. It's certainly not because you care about the Iraqi people, their country, your country (for that matter), or the lives of soldiers. What else is left?
