I think many of you have forgotten this: http://digitaljournalist.org/issue0111/biggart_intro.htm

(A recent study shows that maybe approx. 30% of Americans don't even remember the year of the September 11 attacks.)

Read that page I linked to, Bill Biggart's Final Exposures: he was THERE. He was in the cloud plumes from the world trade center. He was killed when the towers collapsed:

Go through his gallery, and by clicking the "Next" button, you'll see his advancement to ground zero where was killed. He, with thousands of other innocent civilians that day, was MURDERED.

Sorry yo-yo, mvandemar, anthonycea, and some others here, we're after your buddies all over the world. And those pictures are the reason why.

You don't how much you are right, people forgetting things!
They totally forgot what is terror and I hope that they don't experience terror again, but you can't forget thing like this because if you do, I'm sure some terrorist will refresh your memory.

So attacking Iraq is connected to September 11 how?

We should have stayed in Afghanistan & finished the job there, and caught Osama Bin Forgotten.

Allow me to inform the ignorant :)

    Well, let's see:

    1. Disbanded an evil dictator that was paying civilians to strap bombs to their kids and send them to kill themselves

    2. Disbanded an evil government entirely that was allowing free passage of terrorist activity so Iraq could become a breeding grounds

    3. Destroyed factories that were used to begin building WMDs and their dictator was rubbing them in our face...

    4. Stalled terrorist activity in the middle east so instead of planning attacks on innocent civilians, they're MORE busy (notice I didn't say 100% entirely) defending themselves - we've got them on the run. Osama is in a cave now.

    5. We freed ... what ... 20 million people? 40 million? ... from an evil terrorist dictator regime.

    6. We DID go into Afghanistan, thanks for acknowledging that. But, 1 country is not enough to finish the job. Would be nice if it was.

This is a war unlike any other in modern history. It's not uniform soldiers against uniform soldiers. It's uniformed soldiers against sneaky, evil suicide bombers.

    Dear compuXP,
    #1, not related to 911.
    #2, not related to 911.
    #3, not related to 911.
#4a, stalled terrorist activity??? or increased it?
#4b, Oh, so you, and only you, know where Osama is?
    #5, not related to 911.
#6, Afghanistan is still a mess, we should have finished the job THERE, before we did anything else.

Yes, I know it's a different war, didn't need you to tell me that.

If we weren't wasting ELEVEN MILLION DOLLARS per hour in Iraq, we could have found which cave OBL is in, we could have stabilized Afghanistan outside of Kabul, we could be developing more and better info about worldwide terrorist activities, and we could be providing better security here at home.

Instead we are enriching Halliburton & their competitors, and counting our dead soldiers, while the Iraquis enjoy democracy by engaging in a civil war.

Next time the Iraquis take a break from killing to vote, they will probably vote for terrorists like the Palestinians voted for Hamas and the Lebanese voted for Hezbollah.

How many of our good men and women are you willing to let die for that result?

Actually, yes they were. Saddam was allowing major amounts of terrorists to be trained and created in his country, 4 of the terrorists that bombed us on 9/11 were trained in Iraq.

Stalled it. If you READ my post, I said we put them on primarily on the defense. It just LOOKS like it increased since it's centered in Iraq now.

Woo! Mrs. Jump-to-conclusions! Yeah, I know where Osama is - hiding in some cave covered with mud just like he should be. Except he needs to be shot, not JUST covered with mud.

Not directly, but that's one benefit of going into Iraq. Sorry if you are so proud of your freedom that only YOU can have it. Nobody else.

And where do you suggest we get the troops? HuH?? All of our forces are concentrated on Iraq and the main terrorist regime to stop these attacks.

From your posts, it would appear that I DID have to say that.

So what's your solution? Or are you just complaining? Do you suggest we pull all funding (or most of it) and let our soldiers stranded there with NOTHING?

Great idea  - would you rather have a moderately-good economy or a dictator's economy once terrorists would rampage our country because liberals complained about how much we spend on war?

Not really... we're creating a democracy and they're (the good guys) working with us to do so.

And if that happens, it will be a sad day. Kinda reminds me when Clinton was elected president.

Well, if it saves millions more down the road... I'm all for it. It has to be done. Unfortunately. (By the way, "that result" in your eyes is only a fraction of the REAL result)
