Al Sharpton now that is one true red white and blue racist.

Its not racism against the Romanians its classism they want a certain properness that Romanians do not adhere to in Spain

Maybe in an all white town in Oregon. The IQ in those towns are sometimes lower than the population. I trip out when I run into a stereotypical hick that you would see over-exaggerated on a movie, but then you find out that it wasn't an exaggeration. Every once in a while you will run into them in town and they way they speak "English" you would swear they came out of the boons in Arkansas or Missouri.

I disagree. If a politician in the US put out an ad that shows a group of normally dressed black people, with the sub title "Is your neighborhood safe", he would be accused of race baiting, and rightfully so. That is exactly what the Spanish politician did.

Sorry, that's a clear case of racism and unwillingness of the Spanish right wing to try to get them to integrate. I know it's hard for people of different culture and races to integrate but it's the duty of the government of an "advanced and democratic society" to try to integrate all these different cultures.

Worst bit is that the actual right wing party and top members have publicly admitted that they did wrong by distributing these racist ads but the actual mastermind or person directly in charge refuses to admit he did anything wrong. So even though this party wants to clearly distance itself from any sort of racist labeling they're allowing racist members getting away with these sort of acts.

    Very sad.

Yes, that's a well known fact but more importantly lets not make the same mistakes our ancestors made. Did we not learn from history how an entire continent was torn apart?

Absolutely. People who try and use race as a rallying cry for political gain should be called out and disparaged for it. It does nothing but cause problems. I can't believe people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are given a microphone or an audience. The problem is, race makes such a great political tool, both by pointing at a race as the source of someone's problems, or by calling people those who oppose your political views racists. I guess the politicians from both sides of the argument know that people take insults to their ethnicity seriously, which I suppose makes the vast majority of human beings racists(at least at a subconscious level)

Take the immigration laws here in America. Arizona just pushed through a law to enforce at a state level, laws that already exist at the national level. Because they are on the border with Mexico, they are called racist for it. Very irritating.
