This is the most crazy thing I have ever seen.

Go to http://www.litvillage.com/ do Cntrl - A to select everything: weird code pops up , then check the source and look at the site.
The source is extremly SE friendly but it is nothing like the content on the site, what the hell is this, some kind of SEO? How did they hide the source?

    Eiso

    edit:

Finally found the real source , by doing a selection view source but this is not what the search engines see. So if you need to see the real source , go to firefox, do cntrl A , then view selected source.

The page is created in frames, the content is created in seperated pages. This is the real page: *ttp://www.angelfire.com/co/cjb/ the strange code with ctrl+A is probably a layer of some sort. bit strange but nothing unusual.

But when I check it out with seo-browser.com I don't see the real site, are they getting a pagerank of 4 illegaly?

I'm not familiar with seobrowers, I use this lynx viewer: http://www.yellowpipe.com/yis/tools/lynx/lynx_viewer.php. When you check *ttp://www.litvillage.com/ you see it loads another site into a frame. When you check *ttp://www.angelfire.com/co/cjb/ you see the actual page. They probably used some the frames to hide the angelfire toolbar at the top of the page.

They are not hijacking the pr, if that's what you mean. It's just a frameset. (check dreamweaver framesets) A frameset is used to show multiple pages in one browser screen. People used frames ages ago and some people used <noframes></noframes> for seo purposes.

Oh okay, so all they are doing is hiding some adds, that's fine with me.

Well that's not really fine.. Angelfire shows the toolbar so they can keep on supporting free webspace (hosting) to people. When hiding the toolbar/ads the cannot have any income from those pages, so eventually they'll give up the free hosting.

Angelfire is one of the worse free hosts, so if they die I don't really care. Be it there are much much better free hosts.
