My friend showed me this . he bought a chinese product . its written on it "made as usa" , when its made in china . trust me when chinese batteries say 0% lead , they might have removed 1 in front of it . check products carefully before you buy and dont trust chinese .

Erm, most batteries don't have lead in them any more. Nickel and cadmium are the standard ingredients if I remember correctly. So what's your point?
if you really don't want to use chinese products then you have change your lifestyle.becuase we use so many chinese things in our day to day life-from pin to bus.
Beats me, he is not in USA, he saw a Chinese made battery with 0 % lead and assume that "1" is removed. I don't see the point at all. Everything we use somehow will have to involve China nowadays....
