This is probably stupid, but...

I'm a noob to this product and concept. I have created my own banner ad, inserted the coding, but validation fails. Do I need to have a selection of links other than my own? The ad I created doesn't appear anywhere on my site after the coding changes...I'm lost in noob hell! :p

    my site is www.box-builders.com

I don't see where you are running ads on your site. If it is set up correctly, you won't see your banner ad, you will see ads from other sites. When you set up an ad, that is what will be run on other sites.

I suppose my problem may be in the SHOWTHREAD_SHOWPOST, printthread and footer templates where I need to add $ad_network[0]. The instructions say insert the code but isn't real clear where in those templates it is supposed to be.

Okay...I have tried this today with no luck getting ads to appear on my site. This is the path for the ads file:
    http://box-builders.com/bbforum/ad_network_214.php

This is the path for the text file, and there is ad data written to it:
    http://box-builders.com/bbforum/ad_network_ads_214.txt

All of the coding for my vb3 files have been done per instructions. Anyone have any thoughts on why ads won't display? When I run the above ad php file, it displays blank. Both the .php and .txt file are in the root of my forum directory.
